Case Study

Exploring how we help brands capture stories through photography.

The Problem

Despite his national recognition and decades of scholarly contribution, Rabindra Tamang’s vast body of work remained largely offline — scattered across journals, archives, and handwritten manuscripts. This lack of digital presence limited access for students, researchers, and the public, making it difficult to engage with his research, articles, and historical documentation in a meaningful way.

Objective 1

A Website That Preserves His Legacy

We designed a thoughtful and timeless website to showcase Rabindra Tamang’s writings, research, and historical documentation. Built with clarity and purpose, the platform bridges generations — offering scholars, readers, and citizens a window into Nepal’s past through the lens of a celebrated national thinker.

Lokta Paper Background Preview

Rooted in Texture and Tradition

The website features a Lokta paper background — a subtle, handcrafted texture native to Nepal. More than just a design choice, it grounds the digital space in heritage and material culture, evoking the texture of original manuscripts and the richness of Rabindra Tamang's archival work.

Objective 3

Content Management System

A custom CMS powers the entire website — allowing effortless management of books, articles, archival materials, galleries, news, and media coverage. It provides Rabindra Tamang and his team full control to organize, update, and share knowledge with clarity and consistency.

Custom Text Editor

A powerful, built-in text editor supports both Nepali Unicode and legacy fonts like Preeti — enabling seamless writing and editing in native scripts. Designed with flexibility in mind, it allows Rabindra Tamang to draft, preserve, and publish his work in the language and format it was originally conceived.

Recognition

Client Portal 1

Following the website launch, our team received formal recognition from the Tamang Patrakar Sangh — the prominent association of Tamang journalists and media professionals in Nepal.

The Sangh awarded us a letter of appreciation, commending the platform as a valuable contribution to preserving cultural heritage, increasing access to historical research, and empowering future generations through thoughtful digital storytelling.
